I know this is compd but......

We all started somewhere. My truck sure didn't start out fast.(Hell I still don't think it is.) Lookin good though!

Thanks guys!
To clean the carpet I pulled it out and power washed it and scrubbed it with oxy clean.
I know the subs are old but I got them for $100 while I was still in high school. As far as how they work they do everything I want, they sound like a good stock up grade. I would rather have 10's but don't like spending alot of money on stuff like that. (it just makes people want to break in to your truck anyways)
I put the base model seats in because to just fix the power seat it was going to run me aroud $400(two motors and the switch panel and re-pad and re-cover) and I bought the whole set for $200 out of a junk yard.
I have already changed the AD filters that was one of the first things to go! I will post a pic of the air filter it was really bad!

Thanks for the info! I plan removing the carpet completely as you did and wash the heck out of it.

Looking at your AirDog, you may want to consider moving it inside the frame rails to protect it from debris/crap.

Looking good man. Keep up the good work.

I have to agree with SuperDave, a red 2nd gen is awesome! Then again i'm a little bias as well..

It looks like a different truck already. gotta love the junk yard seats, I gotta a set of power fronts for a buck a few months ago.

I took a few more pics of the interior this weekend I did not get anything done though.

Nice and clean! I like the steering column gauge. I've been meaning to buy a trans temp gauge to put there for years!

I think I'm gonna start pulling out my seats to work on the carpet on Thursday...

Its amazing how a lil bit of cleaning makes it look like a completely different truck, and wow that is one of the worst dashes that i have ever seen..what happened someone get pissed and hit with a fist?

that truck cleaned up really well, it's motivating me to stop slacking a new a new motor put in mine and get it back on the road!:Cheer:

good luck man interior work sucks, but it is always worth it in the end!

Pulled the carpet today! Not too bad at all. Only shatty part was that I had to remove the carpet bymyself... Those front seats can be awakard. LOL I'll start cleaning it tomorrow.

What plans do you have for the truck so far??

Good deal half the work is done! I had to pull everything out my self as well and it can all be awakard.I know interior work is not that bad but I just hate it, I would rather work on the fun stuff!

I have the whole build pretty much planned. I am still working out some details though.
I want the truck just mainly for a toy/nice weekend driver. I will be running it on the street more than anything, but plan to pull it a couple times, and hit the quarter in St. Louis as much as I can.

What do you do with your truck?
