if I can't drag... I'll pull

The traction bars make a world of difference even when towing with a lifted mega and you wont ever have to replace the carrier bearing again. I put a little beefier spicer back in mine just to be on the safe side.

I'll know more on Sat. at the Dyno event here in Marietta GA.....Jeff drove it today and didn't seem as concerned as I am......I'll probably still pull my injectors and have them tested after that...Just to make sure..

I think it is because of the shift defueling being shut off. If you reprogram the truck and return that part back to stock, it'll go into 4LO, the problem is you kill a lot of time just programming the truck.

you're gonna get beat up man LOL Many would think the same about trying to drag race a 8000lbs truck too. Do worry man, you'll be hooked to a sled before you know it. Once you do.... you're hooked just like you got the fever for drag racing. IMO, it's easier on the truck than dragging.

We talked Billy Ram into pulling and his first time out almost made a full pull. When he came back across the scale.... he had a ear to ear grin that lasted quite a while LOL it's pretty fun Swole.

What your a cop you shouldn't have a thin wallet! When you pull a speeder over tell him 100bucks and you seen nothing I bet 9 times out of 10 you'll get that 100 bucks? I know i would rather than the pain of a lawyer and all that crap:hehe:.

I won't be able to get two saturdays off in a row. "About one a month is it" I'm kinda fond of the Liberty track though. My tires worked a bit better than I expected. A bit more tire pressure in the rears may be the trick.

What would happen if you put the truck in 4lo unplug the transfer case then switch smarty. Other than a useless code you would think that would work. My buddies 07 electric 4x4 does the same thing didn't get to pull once cuase of trying to figure out why. I would say the tranny won't last long in high tranfer sled pulling unless you have a real light sled.

I don't think it's a matter of lasting long but, more the lack of rpm's to make a strong pass

It was fun doing something differant than drag racing. Diesel drag racing is about dead arround here but sled pulling is comming arround.
