II 13mm Pump

You are right they don't allow water at all. I finally checked it myself. But there are a lot of people that pull in ITPA that do. they must not enforce it. Luke Thomas 2007 Points champ, I'm pretty sure runs Water at most of the pulls I ve seen him at

Yeah the kit I got probably couldn't keep up with a 13mm pump but it will have to do for now I dont want to spend thousands on a corsa data water system. at least not right now.

ITPA techs heavily. I am pretty confident he isn't running water. What makes you think he runs water?

the snow kit won't touch a 12mm pump truck hooked to a sled . we had a stage 3 with 3 625 jets on one with a data logger and it did nothing at all it was on Jerrod Glovers truck.

Rod How things going I havent been able to get the pump on the truck yet we got some rain last week this weekend we got 6'snow this weekend.so I,m in the gaurage wth the heat on working on my old ford.

not up to much Dale, we are just fabbin up 4 twin kits and rebuilding 2 pullin motors

White smoke is incomplete combustion. 30+ degrees timing, low compression. Not saying they aren't putting methanol in the diesel.

I know that the rules say that. I am just trying to say the explanation for the methonal. The kind of water those trucks need the pump is pretty large, it would be kind of tough to hide.

Corsa Data Water system is available at www.scheiddiesel.com, or www.haisleymachine.com

I don't believe that. I can smell the methanol comin from some of those trucks at the pulls and becides they are blowin way to much white smoke.
So where is all of the white smoke comin from, low compretion, Cold?

Corsa builds Data Aquisition or "logging" systems.
Scheid or haisley builds the friggin water setups, hense the "huh".
Dude, maybe you should do a little more research before you post up. Oh, and accusing people of running water in a street class without knowing for sure is pretty dumb.

The mod class and others treat their fuel with lots of lubricants and maybe a touch or two of cetane.
The big mod pullers run water only with a lubricant. If they ran methanol it would detonate because of the temps from turbo compression and no innercooler.

the smell is probably cetane ,I put a 250 gallon mix to 5 gallons of fuel and it does put out a good strong smell.

i have pulled ITPA and know the thomas's personally he does not run water greencastle has two diesel classes an itpa sanctioned class and a non sanctioned class at the end of the night plus there is an rpm limit plus the smoke and smell probally comes from decompression and cetane additive

:hehe: :hehe: :owned: ...surely you guys have heard about Holset's new 14mm pump right?? :hehe: :hehe:

sorry guys, I didn't have anything useful to throw in so that's all i got...

I just wanted to clear some things up. Our 13mm Dragonflow pumps come with EDM'd DV Holders, Laser Cut DV's, 4K or 5K Gov. Spring kit (which ever you prefer), Deep Rack Cap, Fuel Cam Plate, Anaroid kit and Camshaft. We always go completely through the pumps and make sure they are like new. Dragonflow pumps are set to 24deg timing. We have had some requests for timing up to 30deg. You must run injectors of Dragonflow size or larger and injection lines that are .093" or larger to stop excessive loading of the Camshaft, Lifters and B&P's. Some have found that our Super Dragonflow Injectors run VERY well with our Dragonflow pumps. Super Dragonflow Injectors were made to run with our 14mm Super Dragonflow pump. Super Dragonflow pumps must run .120" ID lines. Thanks
