II Silver 71

I've been running one for about a month now and have been extremely happy with it. I have done some towing with it and been to one dyno event with it and it has perfomed awesome. I had a silver bullet before this turbo and I would take this one hands down over the bullet. With my setup I am seeing 55lbs of boost and temps are slow to rise on the pyro.

A5k is a 71. I'm sure some of the vendors on here can build one. Mark at Mcn Diesel put one on an 03 here a while back.
 
A k31 is a very good turbo......




ATS will sell you a purple one if you like that color better
 
HTT, can also build you the same thing, Im now running thier 71/73/16. Def. harder to spool than the PS 66/71 with my tight convertor but I'll get it dialed in soon. Once lite it runs hard for sure and worth some cooling over the 66mm compressor. Give them a call ask for Jonas or Dave. Ryan
 
k31 and the II silver 71 are completely different setups, HTT makes one similar but has a smaller turbine wheel and has more issues with surging, I've got some 5x20's

I think HTT's is completely different than the k31.
They use an s300 based system if I recall correctly. I also believe they are using a different compressor wheel.

Ya I also thought that II PS71 was based off the S300, thats why I made the comment. My HTT is def. based off the S300 frame and has a billet 71mm compressor wheel and the larger 73mm turbine wheel, I notice zero surge with the charger. The K31 I understand to be the same as the A5000 which is S400 based...

your using yours for daily driving??? Thats where alot of people see there surging

No sir, I run this charger on the truck in my avatar. Never been drivin on the street but on the track or return road ive never felt or heard it surge....although it's def not a charger id want on the street, way to soft on the bottom for that.

A5k is k31 based.

A6K, and A7K are s400 based.
 
just lookin for a street strip single that gets it! planning on some bigger sticks and maybe dual cp3 s. I get to hot with my little toy of a charger now
