He definitely doesn't want a regular cab, he has 3 kids. I will make sure he looks at this and gets back to you about the trans.

If it helps anyone looking to buy it.... from looking at the pictures, the block can easily be welded back to good. With it still in the truck. Take off the fender and the turbos and it is easy access.
 
Sold the wheels and tires, DMI Hitch, Tow Mirrors, Headlights, and airbags off of it. Will have all stock stuff on it. Final price drop to $4000.
