In tank pump

The PureFlow kit uses a flexible tube and leaves the check valve in the bottom of the module so that it holds return fuel in the basket for recirculation whereas the FASS kit does not.

I had a customer drop his truck off here for me to install just a PureFlow module upgrade kit. After the install I tested it to the extreme, I put 3 gal of fuel in the tank, drove the truck until it ran out, dumped 5 gal in out of a can, drove about 6 miles to the nearest filling station and put 28.3 gal in the tank to top it off. Do the math, it was a 34 gal tank.

I did my own modification, but basically the same setup as the PureFlow kit. Works great for me too. I may redo mine this summer with the pureflow kit though because it appears to be a cleaner install than mine was.

4x4dually, I think you've got something wrong with your setup.

That's why I tried to use the stock pick up junk so it has to go through the bottom of the module and check valve so the reserve can stay full....I've had it apart so many times, I guess I need to drop it again and look. I almost have all the socket sizes memorized. :hehe: Dammit. Any pictures of "sump"?

From Hellmann's thread:

If you have the stock pick up still I would use a standard draw straw from vulcan and it you have intank pump get a draw straw V. both picks up get fuel out off the tank canister so no 1/4 tank problems.

What you are not understanding, the reason the PureFlow upgrade kit works so well is the fact that all returned fuel is put into the fuel module including the air bleed off from the AirDog. Vulcan and Fass have not done anything to address this, they both require the air bleed to be returned back into the filler neck.
