Injection pump wire tap problems

Alright I have a 02 cummins and just installed a Industrial injection hot rod pump and do not want to void warranty by doing that wounderful wire tap! I am running a Quadzilla Adrenaline with the 4k tune. Also yes the stealth cover will void warranty. Is there any wire in the factory engine bay harness that can be tapped or any other ideas?

That wire runs strictly between the controller on top of the pump to the VP internals. It is not available any place else.

Why would you try to cheat on a warranty? Just install the wire tap and be happy. If the pump doesn't fail in the first 10 seconds, less than 1% do, it will be just fine for several 10's of thousands of miles.

I tried to find a way around it myself, but after about 2 mins of lookin at it I said screw it and tapped it. I have been runnin mine tapped since the HR came out with no problems.

I would still use the stealth cover though, I doubt anything would happen anyways...
