I believe there are several companies who make the .093 lines and tubes right? I think I remember looking on Schieds site and they were SS lines and if I remember correctly 3 or 4 hundred. Does anybody offer something cheaper yet still of decent qaulity?

Also, I know they aren't for more power thats not what I'm wanting or expecting out of them... I just love the lopey sound they can give a truck... but what I'm wondering is can the .093 lines & tubes be used with a stock VP? I think every truck that I myself know of running .093s had a modified VP.
So is it really something that I'll have to wait on till I can get my monster vp?

You can use them with a stock VP. They won't work just the same as they don't work on a HRVP. Your not gonna gain any power or anything with them. Just a goofey idle. That's it.

Why won't they work with a hotrod?

It was my ill fated attempt at a joke. They will run on any pump. You just won't gain anything from them. And I saw you posted that you didn't care about the power.

I thought getblown5.9 gained like 8hp/25ftlb from larger lines???????????????

Every time I've heard/seen them talked about, no mention of more power... so to be honest I don't know why a guy would spend the money on them really. Unless they are less restrictive for the modified pumps??

Haisley machine has them also. If I remember right, they have stainless steel and steel, so if you wanted a cheaper set you could save some dough by going with the steel.

so just by getting these lines you can get your truck to have the lopey mean idle? If so i think it might be worth well for me anyway cause it just sounds mean IMO!!

Im not 100% positive the lopey idle is a gaurantee with lines and tubes. It seems each truck is different.

try just .93 tubes with stock lines... or just remove the filters from your stock tubes...

That truck sounds similar to mine except on that truck there is a huge lope every few seconds. I have one of mikes newer pumps though and guess that is whats different about them. Heres Weazels truck thats got the rev. 4 pump. it sounds mean like that one too.

In the end I want my truck to sound like this one;

But that truck had a lot more done to it then my does now, or will for quite some time. Theres a 2k dollar pump making most of that lope.

My truck idles smooth as silk. I would not have cared if it loped, but it only does it under a load in idle. Im runnin stock lines. do the 093 make the difference?

Is it gonna cut off or what? lol Sounds goood though. I bet with my 89% converter and cold weather it would cut off when I put it in drive in a heart beat. Hell it does that already with my SO pump during cold weather. It's rather annoying. Sometimes it does it 2 or 3 times before I can actually drive out of the drive way.
