Intake manifolds

Ah, I was correct. I guess the next question is why people are building these with runners 4" long....
On ppumps, packaging. For my commonrail, I'll be going with a common 450ci plenum that's butted to the head.

Yea im sure it is. I dispise (sp?) the 24v head!!!!! to many moving parts. LOL

Are you having to use sealer? Is there any machining that has to be done besides milling it flat?

No problem. I'm still looking for my math sheet for why I did it.

No sealer required (not counting chewing gum:hehe:)... seriously, though - just a bit of machining.

Seems like I recall,...

Seeing an intake that had TWO inlets.?? Anyone else see that? Since there hasn't been one posted (pics) then I guess it's not a hot topic. It just seems that there would be better air flow/distribution with the two port inlets.

... then there's some with 3 inlets - they should be best using the cast bathtub plenum; I'll pull some data off the SuperFlow this week for a % gain.

Nothing flows as well as a runner intake.

Got a call letting me know my head is done. Once it get's here i'll start on my intake. Thanks for all the info.
