Intercooler boots?????

I replaced the blown boot with a stocker for the time being. I will call BD to see if they will replace my boot if they won't I will be replacing this piece with the Peak boot.
 
I went ahead and bought a PEAK boot and so far Im VE#RY pleased with it!!!!

That thing auctually went on easier than a stock boot and is about 2x as thick as the BD boot!

We should all call them & complain. I have one here that had 3000 miles on it before blowing a 7 inch hole in the 45* boot. They are junk!
 
I bet the stockers hold better than the BD... All of mine have blown the clamp off the boot. The boots hold for me its the clamps that break or slip up

I called them and told them I wanted it warrantied. They told me to furnish the receipt and if it's under a year old they will warranty it. I think mine are just a bit older then a year. I think that's a rediculous warranty it's not like these boots were cheap for god sakes.
 
Wrap a exhaust band clamp around the hose. it won't swell then. A friend kept blowing boots and thats how he solved it.
 
I would use good furnace tabe around them. Furnace tape will really limit the expanding of them.
