Speed senosr on the front balancer is usually the problem.

Check your CPS. Mine does the same thing. Gets real annoying!

Thanks guys. Seem like it get unhappy when I let it sit in the sun and get hot. Starts working after it runs a bit. I wonder if heat affects the gage in the cab.

If I remember correctly, the CPS should stand off the balancer about .050". I took a feeler gauge between the balancer and the sensor then adjusted the bracket to get it set right, might be part of the problem.
