Is this a Apps problem?

might get this from this guy for $200 if thats what the problem is

Replacement TPS/ APPS

dodge wants $800


I was driving 100km/hr rail pressure 15k
power dropped and pedal didn't do anything if i tried to accelerate. had to let coast for a bit then could go again sort of . did a few times on the way to work.

diesel guy told me to reset tps. disk batt for 1/2 hr then press pedal 3 times.
hasn't done it again so far.

if it happens again then its time to change the apps if thats what it is..

Its apps going. pure diesel power also has new Replacement sensor for like 200 bucks.

I don't beleive this B.S. No one has ever proven to me this method works. "Calibration" is a different beast and should be done when you put a new on in. Not sure if the 3rd gen's call like the 2nd gen's thought. Never worked on a 2003 and up.


Find the same truck and "borrow" a TPS for an hour and make sure that is the problem before you dump $200 into it. It could be a chaffed wire or a dozen other things. $.02

Mine had a bad surge a couple weeks ago, so I did this and it fixed it.

Except, I just just did one throttle cycle.
