Hey guys one of my buddies gave me a turbo off of a Detroit 2 stroke I believe. Do you guys think its worth trying to use for twins or not?

Its a Garrett turbo specs are

Compressor wheel 69mm ind. 91mm exd. .83 A/R housing
exhaust wheel 87mm ind. 77mm exd. 1.05 A/R housing
4" exhaust outlet

What do you guys think? I know its not going to flow as well as a S400 but do you think its worth trying or a waste of time?

Thanks Jeremy

Its a little small for using as the big charger, would work for a mild hp street truck such as the BD street twins. And be good as a little charger in a competition truck.

I wonder about the .83 A/R compressor housing, the GT4202 has a .60 and larger wheels. I don't quite understand the A/R on the compressor side, meaning does a smaller wheel with a larger a/r make for a low boost turbo, in other words something not capable of compressing as well as a larger wheel with a tighter a/r.

Ignore the compressor AR. it's not that important. A larger compressor AR will spool a little slower and flow a little more air. But not by much, so it's not a big deal.
