ITPA Rules

STRISS Does that man that you cant pull with them. Im sure that you have cut out your cab.

Wish i could say the same thing but i cant scence i dont have the OEM floor in. That sucks...no way im going to get a new cab

Bill, to offset the weight difference from a gutted cab, if i hung 100 lbs in the center of the cab, would i be able to pull. Just was a thought scence you make people without a bed floor hang 200 lbs over the rear axle so they can pull.

Haha ya its a thought. More like 200 lbs though dont ya think?

You did do alot of cutting didn't you.Did you cut the floor, back of the cab and the firewall out.

Yes i did. I weighed all of the meteral that i took out of my cab. But i made it stronger than factory... Some day I want to make a tilt body our of it.. I filled the front and back with lexon glass with a alum frame. For the floor i made a flat rectangle floor out of 2x2 1/8 wall alum. filled in the center with alum bracing...Covering it with a sheet of alum

I first want to find out if i can pull, if i add weight in the center of my cab.

I think the gutted cab, "no oem floor" is going to stretch the rules to much. I mean i can see taking out everything that you dont need. But come on, i mean if the rules indicate factory oem body, floor, and firewall, i think we should abide by the rules. Im pulling itpa this year, and i wouldnt think it would be fair for me or anyone else in the organization to abide by the rules and not everybody else follow. Thats my take. But i guess if you could get away with hanging 200lbs in the cab, well i guess it would be no different. But im not sure about the firewall, i dont know what they will do about that. Hopefully extreme with chime in. I dont mean to nag, im just voicing my opinion. Hell, i want the competition so lets all go pulling, but there are still rules. Good luck with it, i hope they figure out a way to let you pull.

I Built my truck to pull with Ill State Pullers. I would like to pull with ITPA. But if i cant no problem, i just really dont see a difference if the cab i gutted and im willing to add the weight back in. Yes i know rules are rules. I have no problem with that. Im not going to have any advantage over anyone else... I

I say hang a thousand over the rear axel of that old rat ( if can handel it). If that dosent make it fair well than go pull NTPA. :rules: *bdh*
