Hey guys Im a local at the Powerstroke nation but new here I have heard alot about this fourm thought most was good. Im out of louisville KY here so if your close hit me up

If you know there is plaster beneath - then carefully removing the wood, MIGHT be cheaper than just laminating with plasterboard - but there is often cracks and other damage they were trying to hide rather than fix - especially if there were roof issues. Still, if you have more time than money and could repair them yourself - it could be worth it
