K31 single

I dont have any under hood pictures with that thing mocked up, im thinking he is going to have to get a looser stall converter, but fugg it its cool, he dont drive it much, and that massive turbo looks cool.
 
yea i dk that pump is gunna have sum fuel for shure with some injectors daddy wants a 5" hood stack
 
We got some of the tuning done and it seems to spool the turbo pretty fast if it is manually shifted with the ratchet shifter. It pulls hard spinning the tires through second gear but as soon as it hits overdrive it falls under the turbo badly and starts surging and loses quite a bit of power. Were gonna tune the pcs to bring overdrive on later to see if that fixs it. But so far the k31 seems to be pretty bada$$.
 
It is not an aurora 5k, its a k31 off a 60 series detroit much cheaper and not purple. The aurora 5k was derived from this turbo.
 
Ha ha it definately is loud as sh$t in the cab. But it seems to run pretty good with overdrive set out farther and lock up lower. We'll see what the dyno says in a week though.
 
Wow sounds solid as $**** ! What fueling mods you guys running ? Sure cleaned up that smoke ? And what did you end up puttin down ! :rockwoot:
 
It still has the stock 180 injectors, the pump has been balanced to flow 400cc's with 181 delivery valves. She only put down 345hp. With some bigger injectors though should be able to put some better numbers down.
