For those of you that own a 4500 or 5500 with the dmax, how do you like it? I'm thinking about getting something else to pull with other than my 05 dodge 3500 dually. Any thoughts or things to be aware of? I've done a little searching, and found mixed reviews.. All opinions are appreciated..
 
The in-line dmax is MUCH better than the v-8, on power and fuel mileage.

only in the 6500 7.8 dmaz I-6 also or cat C7 I-6 along wihtt e 8.1L gasser up to 25,900 GVWR

4500/5500 run 8.1 gas or 6.6 dmax up to 17,500 GVWR
 
Used my buddys wrecker last year, I thought it was a 5500. Anywho, taht SOB would do 90 and get 14MPG or it did for us for about 100 miles. .....And no Tim, I wasn't driving. LOL

I like the truck, but I'm looking for a 4 door.. Thanks though.. If anyone's interested, I'd trade my 06 or 05 up or down for one..
 
I figured I would help dad out and put it up here, If I could swipe it from him I could use it as a tow vehicle for my pulling hobby bit he is 1,200 miles form me.
