But the 2.6 truck that was at 330 was evan davis so its about right for 2.6
 
I dont know i personnaly dont see the difference when i switch out my 2.6 cover and 3.0 there mite be just a little but not that much! JMO
 
Rocko and Evan were 3.0. Scott im glad to see you got the big windmill up and running I hope to learn a few things as I am jumping up to your class next year!:rockwoot:

here's a proven FACT a 3.0 bushed to a 2.8 will show a 40 hp loss
 
Its not going to be a night and day difference mite gain a few feet not 100

I wish they would have added more wieght to the sled that is a bit dangerous letting them run out that far.
 
More pullers need to pay attention and yell at the people in charge of the pull if you see a 2.6 truck go 305 and know how hot the trucks are coming up you have to try to get them to reset the sled. Doesn't alwasy work but try. The crowd liked it !!!

X2! i like to see the trucks pull on the track and not the mud hole at the end
 
I was wondering what the wheel speed is that most 3.0 open driveline trucks are running through the middle of the track?

Also, what is the wheel speed that most 3.2 twins or open single trucks are running through the middle of the track?

Maybe this is all top secret, but just trying to figure out gearing and calculate what I need to get the truck where it would need to be......

Ground speed better be 27 to 30 mph +..........Wheel speed could be as fast as 40 ish if you have the ponies

i tried to get them to reset the sled but it didnt happen running them out that far is never good and we blew a turbo, parts everywhere
