Leaking injector, intermediate disk?

Basically all you do is heat them up as press them flat?

Make them flat first. Copper work hardens, thats what annealing reverses. File/sand flat, heat to red, cool (quenching helps to clean them up, but is not necessary to anneal), clean, reinstall.

50% of melting temp for a minute or so for a small washer will bring it back to original stesses/strains. 991.5°F by my calculations. No matter what the tempering, half of a metals melting point for an extended period f time (a few minutes) will bring it back to original.

MAPP gas alone (in atmospheric conditions) will hit 3,670°F so, heating it with this for a bit until it gets hot will be plenty. It'll definitely get hot enough to belt it though so feel it out a bit.

Good luck!
