Less is more...

go to ebay and buy dash cluster out of a v10 or v8 gas truck

1. pull out your cluster,
2. replace with gas cluster
3. rev to 6k
 
ah, I got ya...stock tach. I thought you were refering to a gasser aftermarket tach....looking for details on how to do that!

Do you know if either a V10 or a V8 gasser cluster will work? Which did you use?
 
mines a v10 manual tranny model, that way i didnt have the auto selector in dash for no reason. got it on ebay for $36
