There are a few different bands you can get made from different material. Which is the best, and what is each material for. I know there are the flex bands and the rigid bands. Kevlar, carbon fiber, red eagle and a few other choices of material. So far I am 0-2 on front bands. First pics are the first band that burnt up. Less then 2000 miles on it. 2nd set of pics are the 2nd band I run, which had roughly 10 miles on it, with a 1/2 to 3/4 throttle pull onto the highway. Bands were set to 72 in/lbs and backed off 1 7/8 turn. Max line pressure at wot is 200 psi. This is on a ats stage 6 48re with pcs controller running about 650-700 hp. Dont want to get the same band again if its going to break that quick. It looks like to me the first band was to tight and wore down way quick, and the second band too tight so broke it. What specs are you setting yours too with good results, and what band has worked the best. Thanks in advance

I am not sure on that, I am trying to get a build sheet on the trans so I can find out more of the little things like that. I assume its a 5.0 because that seems to be the one most use for all out race trannys. Which if that is the case then it should actually be more like backing off 1 1/2 turns rather then 1 7/8 turns. Which would make it to tight I would think. But a 5.0 lever and 200 psi shouldnt be to much to break the band you wouldnt think, I know there are others out there running 5.0s or higher and more line pressure and probably locking in 1st gear that would have more issues then my setup.

As for as I know its just the stock front servo, because they havent seen any issues with them, so they dont make a billet servo for there builds, but I know alot of other companies make the billet servos for them.

Higher than a 5.0? Like a 5.5?

I'd go 4.2 lever. front 2.25 with a billet servo , and rear 2.50 with billet servo
