Lock Right locker

Dana 60's are C-clipped, unless there's some wierd semi-floating rear dana 60 out there.

But the lock-rite is a good tuff little SOB, I beat the hell out of mine (off road) in my front d60 w/ no problem.

The dana 60 front axle in my 97 std cab isn't c-clipped though right?

No front axle is c-clipped only most rear semi-floating axles, no full floating axles will be c-clipped, the hubs keep them from sliding out up front.

Driving a truck with a welded rear on the street every now and then ain't no big deal. And I don't really mind the tire drag, but it simply eats the tread off the rear tires.

i ran the rear of my ford welded for over 2yrs. broke an axle though. id never do it for a street truck EVER again.

my friend was going to do a loc-rite in the front of his jeep cherokee but ended up going with a spartan. works the same way. it did awesome over this past week in the desert.

That's what I figured never hurts to ask though!
