Lockup Switch Question

I was reading the instructions from TST on how to make a lockup switch for a 96 Ram 2500.

http://www.tstproducts.com/Torque%20Converter%20Lockup%20Switch.pdf

Build Date: 11/95, so it's an early 96.

It says that 96's could require a reflash to work.

Does the latest software allow it to lock?

Right now, I've got it going to ground on Pin 11 of the middle plug (white).

The only thing it does is turn on the "Wait to Start", and not lockup the converter. I double checked, and the wire is going to the same place.

Any feedback?

Thanks!
Denny

I believe there are two wires both orange and black. One of them is for the wait to start and the other is the one you are looking for, process of elimination I guess.

Try the other orange/black one. One does something with grid heaters, and the other is lockup.

I've only known one guy who needed a re-flash.

I'll give it a whirl...thanks for the feedback. Running out of orange/black wires to tap!

I ohm'ed it out, and does go to PIN 11 on the middle PCM connector!

Just as a heads up, you have to grab orange wire with the black tracer by the PCM. There's another one by the driver side firewall. I ohm'ed them both out, and they are connected.

So, do the passenger side one!!!
