I'm somewhat interested in an 03 dmax a friend of my uncle is selling. I've always been a bit leery of the lb7's for the injectors so I haven't kept my knowledge on them up very well. I had never really considered one until this one came along.

03 GMC 2500hd, LB7/Ally. Push button 4x4. EC/SB.
-104,000/ 3767hrs (27.5mph avg)
-Injectors done under warranty at 35-40,000 when truck was about a year old
-Used Rotella 15w40 oil
-Trans filter changed about every 3-5k (lots of short trips)
-Never plowed, sled pulled, drag raced, etc.
-Banks 4" exhaust w/muffler
-Banks Micro Tuner on the middle setting for fuel mileage
-Had no idea about the pump rub problem
-Only pulled a 14' landscape trailer for a few months, otherwise just drives it around
-Power drivers seat, windows, locks.
-Pretty clean interior, few stains
-Overall pretty clean, I'd say average rust underneath for its age and mileage for the ridiculous amount of salt used here.
-American Racing wheels that will polish up nice.

-Original owner, bought it new. Selling due to needing the money and has another truck.

Problems:
-Needs back brakes, said front brakes were newer.
-Gear Indicator doesn't work
-Needs alignment
-Will need tires before next winter
-Drivers seat ripped
-Front valance cracked by tow hook
-Small ding/crease in bedside above passengers side rear wheel well.

What else do I need to look for on the truck?
Should the replaced injectors last?

That's a good lookin truck, other than the cab visor. That's a deal breaker to me.
the problems are minor. back brakes will be a chore if you have to get the rotors off. probably needs a pitman and idler arm and shocks. Gear indicator can be repaired by florida speedometer. Not sure on the injectors as it has been a while since they were done.
