I've been running my Cummins swapped V10 since about March. Put it on the rollers in April (I think) and put down 418/967, on the HX35... Needless to say it's not loving life...
Signature is not complete, so here's my specs.
5spd, 3:55's, 285/75/16 tires, 5x012 injectors from PDP, Seth tuned pump (1994 5spd, 175?, I believe the max was 480cc on it), AFC washers modded, foot modded, Marine cam, shaved the head so I'm running the +20 head gasket. Did some clean-up on the head, but I wouldn't go so far as to call it a "ported' head. Timing at ~16.5*, adjustable OFV. All the other usuals, head studs, valve springs, etc..
SO... I've been looking at turbos since I got this thing on the road. From my own reading here, I keep coming back to the s364.5/68 .80 turbo.. It's affordable, and seems to be what I'm looking for, but I would like some input from the more experienced crowd.
This HX35 will not clear up at any RPM, obviously. I rarely tow, and not heavy when I do. Looking to keep a quick spool, even thought about paying the crazy extra for the .7 housing on the above turbo...
I'm thinking with the right turbo, I should be well into the 500HP range.. Just want to get it right the first time.. :ft:
