Mahle monotherm/Woodruff billet rod combo's alive and well.

I wouldn't be surprised these pistons would last a few blocks depending on how hard you are on them....(the block I mean)

John Did you use that ring pack that Eric suggested for the monotherms, I was surprised at how wide the gaps were. I'm pretty sure we could get away with less.

The ring pack is a cummins part number, and I'd have to check my notes but I think it came out at .030 for the top ring and about .050 for the second ring.

So you can really heat them up and not worry about binding up, but my blow by measurements are a little higher, not much though.

Not total seals, I'm not sold on them. IMO the top ring works better when the second ring is relieving some gas. Most oems think the same. I think most ring packs have gone to a larger gap on the second ring than the first.
