Marine cam?

Any one run a marine came in their 12 valve truck. looking to up grade the cam in my truck. Where did you get the cam from and how much? part number? did it help any? I heard that they were made to peak at a higher rpm around 3800 or so. labor cost is not a problem as i have some spare time and have to tab the kdp, and the ported head will be going in at the same time. any help on this would really help. Hopeing that i would be some what of a good "bang for the buck" thing. plus I have no self controll and the tach will be bouncing off 4000 most of the time. thanks

A marine cam, like a marine injection pump, is designed to run at a constant rpm, and is a poor choice for an automotive application.
