Ok, I just bought a set of new 350 Marine Injectors with 2 flows on them (around 68 LPM) with the pop off set to 300 BAR. After Installation, I have a weird part throttle flutter that I am assuming is a timing issue. The pump is set at exactly 16*. I guess my question is what amount of timing (in degree's) should I be running to get these injectors to act right? Ie: keep them in them spraying in the bowl?

I was thinking 18* would be a good place to start as I would like to run around 3800 rpm.

Mods are P&P head, Firering, Helix II, Valve Job, yadda yadda. 4k and a 100 plate.

P.s. When setting the Valves should I stick with stock specs even with the Helix II?

Thanks
Corey

On the valve lash, yes, regardless of the cam you should always stay with stock specs. .010" intake and .020" exhaust generally.
