I thought gus at farmboys diesel was like 807 on fuel only?

havent heared anything from him i didnt know if he actually ever dynoed fuel only or not so i dont know

I just spent about an hour tuning on the dyno!

Fuel only with my street injectors. Pretty happy with the results since this is the first tuning session on the new setup and I didn't spend much time yet.

I found that I finally need a larger than stock fuel pickup since I'm at 0 psi.

I have a comp stacked with Redline and the comp is burned up. It should do better with more timing from the comp when I get a new one.

With no box's at all it made 608 hp.
With the redline at 70% it made 701 hp.

we were making good progress but ran out of time. I still have a lot of tuning to do. I haven't started playing with the waste gate but the most I saw was 58 psi. It's making 64psi on the street, I might need more load.

And it's still with my old tired SINGLE PS66. And this setup is totally streetable! It's getting 18+ mpg at 80 mph and the smoke is managable. I cant wait to stuff my big smokey injectors in it. They made about 70 more hp on the old setup. Les will post the Dyno sheet this weekend.

Your numbers dont count..... that truck is a freak of nature. Most other VP turds (mine included) could only dream of being that cool LOL

Which pump? The Monster or Dragonflow? What did it do fuel only with the old pump(I am sure tht has already been asked)

Thats awesome! You must have a good vp on that rig. Does it make power above factory redline?

It's a Monster. The most it made with the Schied and my big injectors was 655 on the motor, and todays 701 was with my street injectors.

I've changed a lot so it's not an apples to apples comparison. Once I get it dialed in I will throw my HRVP on and see the difference.

I'm thinking I'll get close to 750 with my street injectors. I'm thinking it may be close to 800 with the big sticks and a streetable single.

I cant wait to :nos: this thing. Its a lot stronger than it ever has been.

I'm having some issues with the Redline(My truck is a fricken wiring nightmare now with the new PCS controller, nitrous controllers, Redline and comp) it made its peak at 2750. I'm going to put a larger pickup in the tank, the fuel PSI is way down and its running off the stock pickup. Once I get some fuel I'll play on the Dyno again. The Redline looks real promising though.

your truck is sick!!!!! lets hit the track pimp 10's camera is ready for the record runs

Yes Adam, I will get the sheet posted this weekend. Very impressive and I cant wait to spend more time tunning on it.

Once the COMP and pick-up issues get fixed, easily 750+ on street stix and well north of 850+ with the BIG ones.

1062...old news....Winsletts comming....yall better watch out hes about to bust this thing WIDE open.:charger:

That makes me fell a lot better as my 635hp was also with the redline messing up and set back at the default tunning of 15%. Looks like there is for sure some more HP that can be gained

Adam I hate reading yr post LOL , luckly I got another guy pulling with a VP and been doing some tuning on it and its running good with a RL next will b a mosnter pump, one ? thio are you running yr lift pump off the factory wiring? I talked to some and they said at a certain RPM it would shut off the power or something to that effect , mine is wired to a fuse on the key switch mayb something to look at

Mine is running using the Airdog which uses the factory lp harness as a on/off trigger only. It wires through a relay using 12v from battery to push the pump. Is that what you are referring to?

Hmmm, I will have to do that. I think I'll change the pickup too, PSI fades real quick when you lay into it. Thanks!!

I'm taking the beast on a 400 mile camping trip this weekend. I wont be around a computer till Monday. Peace out!!

Hmm well not really I'm refering to something to do with RPMS telling the factory lift (wiring) to shut off .Guy at a pull was telling me about his and what it was doing cause he ask me how mine is wired he said his would cut the power at a certain RPM didnt get into much detail I just told him to come off a 30amp fuse from the panel to his fass hes a PPump24v puller only so no reason to come off the factory if ther was somethng funny going on I thought , I know the ECU can have a bad short were when its hot it wont crank cause the lift will stay running so it makes it hard to start when warm , saw the diesel Mech here today install a relay/jumper and it fixed the problem

You should check into the hellman pick sump set up. Thats what i used after 3 other pick up asymblys in the original spot. I could never get one to work right everytime i would launch in 4wd i would loose fuel pressure about 1/8 mile and coast through the lights. I thinks its the best solution.

I'm gonna try it. My truck was popping bad at the pull tonight & I didn't check fuel pressure after my run.
