Nice pull everyone! Does any one know what happened to the grey dodge duely that went boom? I was guessing a rod, but not sure.

I think you mean John Cramer's 24V P pumped dually. Yeah that thing sounded terrible. I noticed the popping was following the rpm and the sparks were coming out from the bottom of the engine area. Definitely looks like a toasted motor or a major head/valve train issue.

Not sure what happened there. I was parked next to him in the pits getting teched and overheard Scott talking about pistons to them. Definately sounded horrible though, hope it isn't too expensive. Hate to see that happen to anybody. But to me it sounded like a blown head gasket, you can hear it pumping out compression just before all the smoke came out the hood. But then again it could be much worse, hopefully not.

Truck is apart and Headgasket at this point. Might have dodged a major problem.

Sorry I couldn't make it. I might make the Johnson County Fair pull and see some of you there in a month or so.

Thats good to hear it might just be a head gasket! i wish I would have know it was a p-pumped 24v, I would have tried to get some tips on how to get mine running right!

Oh and the video crew, are they puting together a big video? Whants the info on that?
