milling a cumbustion chamber in a 24v head?

Interesting, I would be scared of the cracking, as the 24V heads are known for cracks in the seat and injector hole area to begin with.

same here...

I've seen this done before and cracking was more of a problem after the material was removed.

This was also my thought. Definitely not a good idea where valve seats are present.
 
Looks neat but likely a dead-end street... better to cure the problem instead of treating the symptom. $.02
