I didnt say it made more power. op asked how to take it out. I explained how to get the noise, without leaving the whole ring out and messing up the intake of the turbo, and you said it can't be done. So I was just ofering to show it was.
 
I pulled out the dampners and left the secondary filter in there. Should I have taken all of the guts out?
