I understand completly, can't even leave a voice mail. He's to busy working on his truck that he blows up every other week !! The more I talk about this the madder it makes me. Hey Shane its pretty bad when you get your new MP and it looks like a JUNK YARD CORE !! Thanks Steve B.
 
I really can't complain on my behalf, I bartered to get my pump so I don't have alot of money in it. What is bad is all the guys who have spent a bunch of money and can't contact him. I know of one guy who sent him a certified check, his pump failed and was lost by UPS. He had to get a refund the hardway, Mike said "oh yeah, your pump is sitting on the shelf" did not ship it for whatever reason. The guy, demanded a refund and gave Mike an earfull.
Sorry, that is not how you conduct business.

By the way, I have exactly the same injector for less money if anyone needs them. IN STOCK! I need some cores, to put them together.
 
I did the regrind cam ring thing has he does in part with the other things that he does , In theory it will work but if the ring has any spec of maching it will lock the pump and destroy everything inside
 
WOW! This thread has me completley talked out of a monster pump! I wish scheid would try something similar to this on vp44s!

Any one else on the fence about a MONSTER PUMP. I can talk you out of it. A product is only as good as the people who stand behind it. By the way the MONSTER PUMP has NO ONE BEHIND IT. I have a paper weight that smell like diesel fuel, 6 billet crossover tubes ( maybe I can make wind chimes out of these ) and 6 injectors ( I can probably use these for cores ). Thanks Steve B.
 
wow... I guess I missed something... wheres this place at and who is it so I dont go there... I aint familiar with monster pumps or the first names of the guys you were name droppin In any event I am sorry that you are gettin the run around.... this stuff is too expensive to take a loss on... Ive went through a couple of so called hot rod vp44s and was told my warranty was no good because of what I had runnin to the pump so I too have learned sometimes youre on your own and it SUCKS
 
Steve , how many have u gone through ? buddy of mine went through 3 in like a month but mike sent him one each time , the last one has lasted a few months now

How much for the cross overs ?

When I posted before I thought 2, but after rethinking it was 3. # 1 was very hard to start, sent it back diaphram was cracked. # 2 didn't run any better than # 1, sent it back he said something about a small valve in the pump being the problem. The entire time this is going on I keep telling him its something with the electronics in the pump but for some reason he refuses to change them every pump came back with the originals with my soldered wire for my pump tap. Go figure. I can't sell any of this JUNK to you guys, like I posted before I wouldn't be able to sleep. BUYER BEWARE MONSTER PUMP WARNING !!! Thanks Steve B.
 
heck of a for sale ad but hey at least your honest. Ill give ya $50 for the pump :hehe:

Call Columbus Diesel tell them what u got and would they look at and test it for shizzz and giggles
 
just went to monster pumps site and it basically says that every truck is set up different and shows their products and they are actin like they want to hear feedback from people who are runnin the products and etc... but from what Steves sayin it aint sounding that way

Ramblin man, I've been leaving alot of feed back, he must not read on any of the sites. I tried to get a hold of him for FIVE WEEKS and reply, so after that long I feel its time to bash. Thanks Steve B.

Rods, If I sent that pump to Columbus Diesel the first thing they probably would say, did you say this pump was new ?? It looks like an core from a junk yard. Thanks Steve B.
 
The pump is on getblown59's truck for chits and gigles. I don't think he's having much luck with it. GO MONSTER PUMP be a CHUMP !!! Thanks Steve B.
 
it runs great if you dont ever plan on going over 3k rpms...im getting to be an rpm freak myself...i love the way the truck sounds and feels at 4k, but this pump doesnt come close to it.
 
My VP went out in my tow rig I will trade you this no good one for this monster pump :Cheer: could I even tow with that I am VP Stupid so IDK.

The short time I ran the monster pump it was taking me broke. You could watch the fuel guage move. You wouldn't want that thing to tow with !! Thanks Steve B.
