I got some more decking down but at a stopping point since I got to finish the ceiling in the bathroom before I continue.
Yes I know Cant waitYou’re going to love all that extra space. One of the best things I did with my new shop was going high with the ceiling. I can pile so much crap up there and it doesn’t affect floor space at all!
ThanksWay to go!
Do it I have enjoyed building my shop a bit more than working on trucksim gonna use this thread to get mine done soon....
well My mezzanine deck was based on having 10ft of overhead in my toolroom/machine shop for overhead trollies. the overhead on the mezzanine deck is like 5'8" at the eves but like 8ft in the centerOne thing I wish I would have done that you did was a scissor type truss. At least where the upper level is for the head room. I ended up leaving that one truss exposed and sheeting to the peak.
I used my scissor lift now i can walk around the shop with a lot less clutterHell yeah :rockwoot: You put all that up there and you haven’t even built the stairs yet to get there.
I did it for 2 reasons sound and probably gonna pus small ac unit in my office, machine shop, bathroom. plan is to put a small gym up there as well and possibly a place for the kids to loungewhy did you insulate the floor on the mezz
