My Dream Shop 48x100

Heck ya. Looks like it worked great. I love it when things are easy.
the fainted pics are about a 1.5hr run time I forgot i left it on all night and the one with the bright lines are 24hr but one single loop too I was very surprised to say the least

Me too! It just seems like they rarely are that easy:bang
nothing like 2 steps forward and 10 backwards

Now the last time to have a bare corner before the lift.
This lift is freaking heavy as well. made my shop look smaller. Cables were 1 foot short. Called Eagle and they said everyone who ordered a 15k lift said the cables were a foot short. They sent me new cables. got them on and dad had to be the 1st one to use it to sharpen the lawnmower blades. put my truck on it and noticed it wouldn't go all the way to the top called and discussed about the reservoir being to small. turns out they sent me the wrong pump and reservoir so they are sending me a new one

I have waited since covid lumber prices went up to drop. I finally bought the Insulation and lumber for my Mezzanine I was no even going to attempt to pay $50 a sheet for 3/4 OSB. So prices finally came down and I ended up paying $21.50 a Sheet

You’re going to love all that extra space. One of the best things I did with my new shop was going high with the ceiling. I can pile so much crap up there and it doesn’t affect floor space at all!

I got the Bathroom Celling up and finished the decking and insulation.

One thing I wish I would have done that you did was a scissor type truss. At least where the upper level is for the head room. I ended up leaving that one truss exposed and sheeting to the peak.

im gonna use this thread to get mine done soon....
Do it I have enjoyed building my shop a bit more than working on trucks

well My mezzanine deck was based on having 10ft of overhead in my toolroom/machine shop for overhead trollies. the overhead on the mezzanine deck is like 5'8" at the eves but like 8ft in the center

Since We have been getting some serious wind i have notice the doors are bowing a little So ordered more door braces and even cable braces the top panel

Those braces work. I have one on every single panel on our 20' x 10' door. I've seen 60 mph winds bow the doors with the braces on them almost an inch or so before. Probably kept it from just breaking.

Now that I have the decking on the mezzanine. I was able to move so much stuff out of my way.
