I need to find a little lift like you got there. I recently borrowed one like that but bigger from my old electrician boss man. I've done so much work with it lately it's hard to believe. Not sure I can give it back to him and not own one after having it around for a month. With a 20ft tall shop, it sucks to work off an extension ladder all the time.

Check out United Rentals asset dispersal section on their website. Pick the location that's convenient and the budget you want. Yes, there are some beaters but it's all priced accordingly.

Thanks. Been using this little jewel. Love the sliding extension option. It's nice to be able to walk about 10 feet when hanging 8 ft lights.

The biggest fight is that it is designed to be on a hard surface. More times than not, I had to jack up one side or one end to get it level enough for it to go up. That was the biggest hurdle with trying to use it outside, especially since I graded the pad to drain to the south.

Did a quick search. Considering they want over $9000 for this little POS....I'm out.

No ****. Those things allow you much more confidence than a ladder. The time a lift saves you is almost a justification. You most likely could write if off since the ranch surely needs one for maintenance & repairs. Your not getting any younger, and ladders are dangerous.
You tell Mrs. Doctor to look at the statistics.

After have one rented for like 3 months and paying about $1700-1800 It was cheaper to buy one vs renting again I Paid like $5k cash for this one but you can find them cheaper
a Lift tech told me
Skyjack was very basic easy to work on and simple
Genie was lil fancier but had more electronics and computers on it
JGL was a highest but to much BS as well
mine is a Skyjack 3219
On a side note Skyjack offers manuals on there website free and very through as well.

I couldn't handle how this shed looked when I pulled in my driveway and my house was all dressed out so I added skirting to the front to hide the Z purlins

Those little runabouts are awesome! I bought the skyjack equivalent from them for under 4k. Genie's bring a little more, but are less desirable to use given the mast design. Just have to be patient and the deals come along

That looks much better trimmed out with some tin. Lean-to's are very convenient to a building structure. How many times do you just need to pull up out of the weather, hop out to check air pressure or grab a tool and go? Plus it's a place to park your equipment mostly out of the elements and not clutter up the shop as much.

Yea it doesn't look like a eyesore either. My buddy that is a contractor said it would add character to the building and it did for sure. Yea i have already enjoyed it when its raining for sure. Dad was confused when he saw his dozer under it. I told him it has earned its keep since it help build the house and shop.

Pulled he smoker under mine Sunday morning at 25F just to get out of the damn wind. It was much nicer cooking under there than in the driveway like I used to.

Drove to Chickasha yesterday to get the remaining piece of trim for my building addition. Trim was 25' and my stock trailer is 24'. I didn't want to haul the dual tandem flatbed 3 hours round trip so I took the stock trailer to save fuel and it pulls way easier.

Used some huge cable ties and put 14 of them to zip the trim up to the sidewall so the end could stick in the nose. All of them broke. F-me.

Much thanks to the ****ties highways in the damn nation.
