my new custom intake manifold

what do you guys think of my new intake manifold its almost to shinny to take good pictures of but something to look at ne way its made out of 304 stainless so i should never rust the flange that bolts on the head is 1/2 inch thick and the other flange (bottom of the log) is 1/4 inch thick everything else is at least 12 guage

looks restrictive, inlets off of the main runner should be atleast 1 1/2 times larger than outlet for better flow.
 
That is very nice bob. Now if u only had the engine to put it on!!!:woohoo:
 
Its got square runners because my cousin built it where he works, all the metal was scrap, they dont use ne pipe that would have worked as runners so sheet metal was the next best thing. I agree round would probably have been better but the ports on the head are exactly the same as the flange so it shouldnt matter what shape the runners are because you are limited to what the ports on the head are. just my thoughts though
 
3 x $15 in exhaust tubing.
$400 in misc steel CNC'd for easy assembly.

its taller than most i have seen but it did fit under the hood, barely.

Looks good!

I am sorta with Terry to a degree but I would imagine it will flow better than the stock cast piece.
