I agree round would probably have been better but the ports on the head are exactly the same as the flange so it shouldnt matter what shape the runners are because you are limited to what the ports on the head are. just my thoughts though

rectangular vs. round is proper due to the shape of the intake port, but you want to maintain a constant taper from the plenum to the throat under the valve.
 
Look good we are doing on simmilar real nice welding on the stainless.

i thought the welds looked good to but my cousin that built it was kinda dissapointed his welds werent better, said he did have a good fit on some of it
 
a true oval or D shaped runner and port are the proven best and square or rectangular being the worst - this holds true for both intake and exhaust

fluid doesnt like to turn corners, and when forced makes eddies, and those eddies cause turbulence in the corners of a rectangular pipe to the point where in some instances the air actually stalls

forced induction kinda hides those issues but they are there.

Agree'd. I don't know where some get the idea that rectangular increases volocity, it don't.
