i have recently wired up a compressor, tank, and the airlift wireless airbag setup on my truck. i have power to the pressure switch, from a 10 a keyed fuse, then from the switch to the compressor, and i also have horns, through a 1/4" solenoid. which arent working, i can hear the solenoid but the horns hardly make a noise, anyway, i was drivin down the HIGHWAY and playin with it a lil bit, seein if i could clear something out of the lines or something (pushing the horn switch i have) and all of a sudden the dash lights up like a christmas tree and the truck dies.. and im left coasting with no power steering or brakes.. it starts right back up on the shoulder fine though, but im wondering if the compressor kicked in all of a sudden and overload the electrical somehow, enough that it could screw with the computer or ?? this has happened twice now, in the last month. can't seem to narrow it down, ideas?
