NADM Opener 2/23 n Bakersfield, Ca. Who's going?

It got the grille to tom just didnt post it. It is just a small crack, I can fix it.

Anyways back to NADM. Cant wait to get out there the weather here sucks.

If we are real lucky the weather will hold. 70* today, Just about time to get out the shorts again. :woohoo:

It was 83* here yesterday in Simi. I am unsure about staying after the event. Its the closest event so a 2 hour drive I might come home. Unless there are some after hour events. ie- cooler or shopping cart races, I might stay!

Girl!! ARE YOU KIDDIN? lol with the post above yours... (canadian whiskey) and ALL of Comp D going.... there WILL be something ridiculous going on. We can find a tiny man to replace Tommy on the cooler lid lmao. I'm sure we can find a very low hp civic or something to tow the lid! It'll be a blast! I'm sure you can shack up somewhere safe!

Ya I have a few options, but I possibly have to work the next day-YUCK. And sorry no replacing Tom. That just doesnt happen. :)
 
Ewww work! Ok and good point lol, no one could ride the lid like Tom. But I'm sure we could attempt to kill someone stupid enough to try the skill that he perfected. That was just too funny. I still watch those videos and laugh.
 
pangela it's not about the partying but the racing.LOL. okay maybe a little of both, just look for me with the dark blue broke down ford, 35hr drive, not looking forward to that.
 
lol... Yes, it is about the partying. That's what happens after the racing. It's like PB&J!! You can't have one, without the other. And heck... it's not me lol, I'm fairly tame ;) It's the boys that are wild.

p.s. steer CLEARRRR of the canadians and their whiskey. Where are you coming in from? Hopefully it's not canada LMAO
 
Damn, I've now had the official word that ISSPRO won't be "officially" going to the event (don't want to push the new product until we have them on the shelves, although we'll have them on the shelves by that point...).

I'm trying to decide if I can afford the fuel to make the trip on my own nickel. Nothin like spending $600 in fuel for the chance to win $500! I would also have my 5-year-old daughter with me, and we'd be staying at the track in my camper. I'm not sure if I'm ready for her to learn some of the vocabulary which comes with Canadian whiskey and cooler racing!

Is anyone else bringing kids?

I'm betting that Howard (strokinearly99)(I think) and his wife and kids will be there, they usually are. And I'm sure others will be there with the kids too... lol the after hours events are yes... definitely not child friendly so to speak. If you need a baby sitter for some of the time, just holler! Where are you coming in from?

That's kind of a funny thought huh, one of the wives who doesn't care so much for the wild animals that come out after 2100 hrs, should start up a "daycare" hotel room or something. Pitch in some dough, and got yourself a reliable sitter! lol
 
THE GIRLS ARE LIMITED TO 2 DRINKS,they get loud after that. i've got a 11 hour drive just to get out of canada, then into montana, then sunshine. dirty blode what was the joke about hogue again.LOL
