Need a extra 45hp!!

Got on the rollers this past weekend in my 06 and put 655hp with the mods in my sig. The only thing that was not working was the water/meth. I would like to get to 700 without changing the cp3,injectors,charger. I know if the water was working I could make it,but i would like to do it on fuel only. Does the modded rails add anything?? Could i run the dr.p pressure box or does the mp8 do better? Any suggestions will help

I ran on 2 dyno's this past weekend. The first was a dyno dynamics it is a load dyno and i only seen about 1300. The second dyno was not a load dyno and i seen about 1100 on it. Driving at wot i can get it around 1350 or so.
 
I know a local guy (2007 5.9) who put down 575 w/ smarty, SPS62, DDP 90's stock CP3. I dont remember which tune he was running. He recently added a MP8 and blew the RV on the dyno but made 583. ( i think TNTr)

I guess the arson III is doing you a lot of good.

I made 541 w/ stock fuel, inj SPS62 and hot edge.
 
Hey guys do yall think if he gets his head studs in and cranks the boost up a little bit it'll help out any
 
That depends on how much boost he was making already. That charger is prolly at its efficieny range limit at 50-55lbs of boost. Too much boost out of a small charger creates too much drive pressure which creates hot air that hurts hp. What program and settings were you running on the smarty? Was the mp8 at 100%?
 
i think that you are pretty much at your max. if your not draining your rail or dropping it below 16k or 18k i wouldnt get a mod rail. but if you want to try then go for it should pick up a few but not 45hp.

That seems to be a pretty good number for the charger and setup. Might be hard to reach that with just #2
 
Ok then, well you may have a few more ponies left if you bump it up to 50lbs. I doubt if it will make 45 more hp but I would try it and see.
 
relentless diesel has a cp3 mod that can be added to your arson kit and should add like 20 hp. Go to relentlessdiesel.com and check out his forums. He has some very Interesting stuff on there.
 
His cp3 is doing pretty good lol it set off a code on one of the pulls for high RP. I dnt remember exactly what he said his rp was doin but I know it was pretty high
 
I'd say bump up the boost a little, take off your air filter, spray your intercooler with ice water, run an electric fan(s). That might get ya there. Hell, you could even switch to a thinner oil for the dyno run and that would free up a little hp

I am not draining the rail, I hit 30K on the dyno and through a high rail pressure code.

I will have head studs in before the next dyno, I have the wastegate set at 42lbs right now.
