Update

i got home from school and trying starting the truck and it would not start. i cranked on it for 45 seconds with no throttle and it wouldnt start. i took the adrenaline off and did the same thing and still no start. finally in a last attempt, i put the adrenaline back on and cranked on it for another 45 seconds, this time with my foot wfo and it finally started. its running in my drive way right normal. i dumped some diesel 911 in it and im going to let it run through for maybe 20 minutes and take it for a test drive. what do you all think could have happened? i was starting to think my vp gave out but im not so sure anymore...what do you all think??

IMO, it was gelled up. Everything you explained are tale-tale signs of fuel gelling. If you got it running, it should be OK unless you have high amounts of water/moisture in the fuel. You may need to change the fuel filter again if you still have trouble.

Just did get above freezing in Lexington yesterday...should've been near 50F today so the gell should be ok...just possible water issue today.
