need help with hp

I agree Jeff's truck is very cool, but I know how much time and effort he has invested, many would not go that far. Here is another video, simple setup, not a big budget, runs very well.

BlackCloud, it all depends on how good you are at using stuff from the junk pile, and how thrifty you are. Can you fabricate? Like Jason said get it to the 300-400hp range and go have fun, with that much power you will still be able to break stuff.

I run a 300hp truck around here and do alright, IMO its all about setup and knowing how to read a track. I just got the usuall pump mods a 60mm wheel upgrade, and a decent single disc clutch.

Heres a couple vids of my old junk hookin

Weston, Not many? I'd say most wouldnt go that far, I know there have been numerous night wher i didn't leave his place til 3am or later on a weeknight cause we were working on somthing on that truck.

i will have to save money and look for parts..would it be better if i put a 1 ton rear end under it?

I don't want to saound like an ass...but you have got a lot of things against ya...

Need a Rear end, a tranny, and in all seriousness, a pump. Then you will still be a 2wd, which is fine and dandy, but in reality, a huge disadvantage.

Ever thought about a drag truck?

I think the only thing that truck has going for it is the short block and weight.

Drag truck would be alot more effective use of your money.

true....then i could use a 95 12v frame an build it into a puller..i was just wanted sumthin to have pulling with i mean i wouldnt care if i came in first or dead last i just wanted to show some of these street diesels that pull in macon county that i can do it to an prove some of em wrong with a 1st gen
2wd but ill consider using the 2nd gen frame
