Need Help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SHOPKEY says P1756 is an auto transmition code

What kind of scanner did you use to pull those codes most of your chips wont pull all of the codes out, neither will on board diagnostics that show up on the dash

Just for fun did you relearn the APPS after you hooked the new injection pump up mine did something similar when i put the pump on my 01 with the key on engine off you have to push the pedal slowly to the floor and the release it the same way to relearn the complete motion of the APPS

If you really want to check your APPS, you can hook it to something that shows your %throttle and see if it matches your RPM. My edge attitude will read it and I also have a Murphy display that will read it too. If you swap out the APPS, when you first turn your key on after putting it in, push the pedal to the floor, let off, to the floor, then let of and turn the key back off. Then start the engine. This calibrates the idle voltage with the computer since it will inevitably change when you set it. When I first turned the key on mine showed 12% throttle with my foot of the pedal. I did that routine then next time when I turned the key on it read 0% at idle like it should.

The wait-to-start light gives me a bad feeling about truck. Go to a dealer and have them plug their fancy computer into it. It should cost you about $75 to have it scanned. I found someone with a SnapOn Modis scanner and it finally told me I had a "PCM Connection Failure" or some crap. It may be worth the money to diagnose with a scanner rather than to spend two weekends on it replacing crap trial and error.

And the "check your ground" solution in my opinion is a witch hunt. :D

i agree with the ecm or pcm problem. we have a place here in north texas that will go through them and basically fix whatevers wrong inside of them for like 100 bucks so that a new one is not needed.

Well it is still down but we thank it may be the ECM....NOW where and what to do. for a good price.

have you removed the ecm and checked to make sure that on of the pins aren't loose or broken?? Talk to Bob Wagner (madselectronics.com) about your ECM

Roger that. Contact Bob Wagner. He sold me a used ECM for my truck at a reasonable price and I ain't had any trouble yet.
