Billet 63/74/.7 gated at 50psi
Pump: 180 no plate, rack plug, afc modded, 20*ish
5x.016
Raptor 150
181/210

I always figured 5x.016 would be too much for a 63, but this 63 completely clears up the fuel as soon as it lights, and pressure doesn't drop below 20psi wot (38 at idle).

Id like just a little more fuel, at least a strong haze, to assure im getting the most out of the charger, and to see if it will help it pull longer/harder.

Should I try dv's? Surely the 180 isn't at its limit? Im also going to get a higher spring for the raptor just keep forgetting.

What plate do you have in the pump? Is it slid full forward? I would say get that spring to bump the lift pump pressure. I can tell you with full cuts and 5x16's in twin turbo truck it was pretty well over fueled even having a 62/68/13ss over a s475

Going with a 191 would help. Cody was running some 370's, 191's, 17 degrees of timing, no plate and a 64/71/14 and I dont think it ever cleared up.

No plate. So ill try some dvs first

I don't have a lot of personal experience with 180 pumps and low lift pump pressure, but on my 160 pump, I'd be down 20-25 psi boost(because of diminished injection pump fueling) if lift pump pressure dropped to 20 psi. On my 180 pumped truck, horsepower does go down when lift pump pressure gets low, such as having a dirty fuel filter, but it doesn't seem to kill 100+ HP like it does on the 160 pumps it felt more like 20-30 HP loss on my 180 pumped truck when lift pump pressure was dipping to about 18 psi.

I think DV's will give you that "haze" your looking for, but it will still be clean on the top end, maybe even pop and sputter a little because I'd guess lift pump pressure will drop even lower with DV's.

Yeah, thats why I'm calling airdog tomorrow to get the higher spring.
I'm pretty sure it's not because it's only a 150, I know lots of guys making way more power than me running just a 150. I think it's the spring, and the dv's are now my bottleneck.

You could always try machined DV holders also Mike, I know they certainly are not restricting my fueling haha
