need som direction

just took my heads off and dont have the means to check for flatness... can someone point me in the right direction... live just north of houston.... conroe area...need a shop that can check them

Did you get the spec on flatness?

Roll on down to any shop with a steel straight edge that is hanging on the wall. Clean the heads without using a super abrasive cookie. Lay a .002 feeler under the straight edge. If it pulls out its more than .002. If it drags the straight edge its ok. Do this in between each cylinder and around the outside edges.

Pic's fuzzy but I don't see anything abnormal on my computer.

that black spot on the left is all carbon.....thought at first it was gasket material....same as whats on the pistons and valves
