Need Transmission Help!!!!

my E4OD is starting to shift hard and slip so im wondering what you guys suggest I do. Maybe a modified valve body or upgrade the torque converter to make it last alittle bit longer and stand up to some more power. The truck is all stock except for intake and exhaust. I really want a bts tranny but its out of the question being a broke college student. Thanks Guys!!!

A good valve body and torque converter do wonders. If you plan on going with a BTS down the road, I'd suggest going with his valve body/torque converter setup now to save yourself some money and headache down the road.
