Well as some of you have probably read I had a major failure in the valvetrain. I am pretty sure that I either did not get the stock bolt tight or miss tightened the bolt cracking the rocker arm shaft. Bummer!

Because I do not want to take the chance of this happening again I got in touch with Greg Hogue (Comp461) He got in touch with ARP and whipped up this spiffy Stud Kit. Included are studs (with easy install hexs in the end), ground washers, and 12 point nuts.:woohoo: These are far stronger than the stock fastener, and a very easy install. I beleive Greg has more kits made up and ready if you need them just give him a PM.

Nice. Get that thing back together.

Working it!

I need to bring home my Magnetic indicator from work so I can set the lash. Sorry about the huge pic. I do not have resizing software on the garage computer. You can see in the pic that the studs just barely protude from the nut! No clearence issues here. Greg nailed the length. The studs are longer but the extra length is there to use all the thread that is in the head that the stock bolt does not.:woohoo:

In that pic you can also see the new one peice billet rocker bridges from Curtis at Diesel Preformance Research. They fit nicley over the Spings and Ti retainers I already had from Trippin at Socal Diesel.
