Well I didn't have anything to do today while waitn on class so I ran back to hot street performance and dynoed again since I capped the rail. 2/21/09 it did 521 & 950. Well when I got home after that the truck wouldn't run so I capd the rail. Today it made

527 horses and 1086 ftlbs with the exact same tune. To say the least iam vary happy with the results. Also it moved the power down were it should be. Now I just wish I woulda got the arson kit installed

Very nice numbers! Very impressive for the mods listed. I'm new to the CR thing, what do you mean by capping the rail?
 
The rail has a relief valve that starts leakin and letn rail pressure by. To say the least mine was trashd my truck would barely start. So I capped it and it fixed the problem and helped get my torque up.

And I think the dynoes a dynacom. Supposed to be the same dyno as buda

Thanks man. Where can I read more about doing this? Anyone have pics or a list of parts needed?
 
Go to FTE diesels forum on here or cumminsforum for a right up. Make sure you have a rp guage becuase it can get pretty high pretty fast
 
Is there anything I can do to get more power out of it b4 injectors? TNT sw9 tq 4 timein 2 rp 1 wastegate off

I've got a arson 3 kit setn n the pickup just waitn to instal. Anything else I can do?
 
Buy a TST and add some duration. Be careful when you double or triple stack, lots of bad things can happen really fast with three different things altering the stock programming.

You might try shimming the wastegate actuator. I think around 45psi boost the wastegate starts to blow open from exhaust drive pressure. Shimming the actuator with a washer or two puts a little more preload on the wastegate flapper.

Do you have a boost fooler version of the MP-8? I think the smarty can only fool up to 42 psi. You will need to push the stock turbo to near explosion around 55psi to make 550HP with it.
 
I have a boost fooler and make around 44to 46 psi right now. I've heard to many bad storys about tst on the 06 and later trucks. I'd rather just kp my stack I have now and add the rest of the big stuff

Try different settings on the MP-8 we found that sometimes 1/2-3/4 will make more power sometimes as much as 25+ hp.

Yeah I've heard that. I wish I could spend some more time on a dyno to tune. Prolly guna go ahead and install the injectors and hopefully get my turbo before buda
 
Also do yall think I should try sw7?

Take your relief valve out go to the hardware store and get a S.S. bolt, and save 70bucks.

IMO its highway robbery for what they want for those things.
 
i live 70 miles from a store that might have a bolt to fit mine and my truck wouldnt run enough to get out of the drive way lol so i called wally at fte and he had me one here the next day. they are 67 shipped not to bad for piece of mind plus wally is a cool dude that realy believes in customer service.

Id love to see dyno numbers for this kit.

I think me and another guy are going to get the arson kit and the II bag and do a dyno shoot out. Before and after numbers on similar trucks.
 
ive got the arson III kit on but no dyno numbers yet. and hopefully the next time i hit the dyno i wont be running stock turbo or injectors. its over 6 hours to the dyno i used or i would run and dyno it everytime i changed something lol. the arson seemed to really help out mid range and up to peak hp and torque on the street. our local shop owner put down 655 on three pulls in a row with the stock cp3 and arson kit. 90 horse ddps, sps 62, htt intercooler and all the small bolt ons and thats with the adjustment screw on the charger backd out or screwed in to limit boost to about 42 psi. for anything fueling wise i would talk to wicked diesel!!!!!!!!!!!
