Came across this picture today of a 12 valve exhaust manifold, let me know what you think? In the captions, the guy mention's Scott Bentz helping with turbo parts... so who made the manifold?

Looks like the guy who was building an older suburban with a 12v, he went top of the line with everything, and built alot of stuff himself. if its the guy i am thinking of then he built he manifold on his own.

He had a build thread over on TDR but hasn't updated it in a long time I believe. Last I remember he was removing weight from the crank. Great fab'n skills...

Wow that was a wile back, I remember his porting work, he made the runners look like a mirror and a coated everything that went in the engine cam, bearings and all. Never herd what happend after all his effort.

The first engine made : kabooooooom , I think it lost the conrod bearing

He spun a bearing shortly after the build but didn't take him long to get it fixed. Then it was running good and that was the last I heard, he basically jumped into another project and that was that.

Timo is doing well and Suburban is a daily driver. Met him last weekend. We are friends. He just doesn't have much time to hang around in the net. Busy keeping his business doing well.

Finally registered to this forum too, here's the short update. First of all, I'm still alive :evil although ones in a while feel a like a half dead after pushing long hours to keep the buzz going. What comes to Burban, it's engine and the exhaust manifold are doing great, no cracking issues at all. At the moment Burban is under progress of soda blasting, trying to get it ready for primer on next week and painted at the end of month. After that I could continue the crank lightening. It still needs about evenings of a week for rough cutting and then alot of finer machining. When it's time to drop it in to a balancing machine, will see if I a need to start all over again, well, world is full of cranks.
Attached a pic to my topic on TDR.

Cheers
Timo

Glad to see you here, and that all is well Timo. I followed your build for quite some time on TDR. Good luck with the new paint!!!

Timo great to see you on here and back on TDR :D

Ever get that video of the 'burban I asked ya for back in 2005 :p j/k
Don't work too hard :)
