I got pulled over by the State Police coming home from the Rib( read beer)fest @ Heinz Feild Sunday afternoon.
79 in a 55. Damn.
I had been messing with a smokey Ford while driving the Jeep. Female officer. I got off with a 25.00 "Failure to obey traffic signs". Needless to say it could have been worse. Much. Lesson learned.

I wish I had had my phone closer to me. I was at the stop sign as the kid flew by; that cop was NOT joking hahaha. Later today I saw him writing tickets to 3 other kids; one was on the ground LOL!

The fines ain't bad, the costs are where they get you.

I had a cop ask me when stopped for speeding (I was doing over double the speed limit and it took him a long while to catch me) "Did you see where I sitting?". I said "No. If I did you wouldn't have caught me". He didn't say anything. He wrote it for "failure to obey traffic signs".

Note for the future - they don't like hearing how the "speed limit" is stereotyping and it makes use of the fact the "average" driver can safely negotiate that road at that speed.
